Do I need a Google Cloud project?

Yes. Create a free project, enable the Gmail API, and create OAuth credentials. Takes about 5 minutes.

Is my email data stored on my server?

Only message metadata is cached locally. Full email bodies are fetched on-demand from Gmail and not stored.

Can recipients tell I sent from WordPress?

No. Emails go through Gmail's servers with full SPF/DKIM authentication. It looks identical to sending from Gmail.

What happens if I deactivate the plugin?

Gmail data stays on Google's servers. Local cache and templates are preserved. Reactivate anytime.

Can I use non-Gmail accounts?

Currently only Gmail and Google Workspace. Outlook and others may be added in future versions.

What's the difference between Lite, Plus, and Pro?
