Frequently Asked Questions

Can anyone else read my stored passwords?
No. Passwords are encrypted with a key derived from your master password, which is never stored or transmitted. Without it, the database holds only ciphertext, random salts, and a one-way verification hash — unreadable to your host, to us, or to anyone with a database dump.
What happens if I forget my master password?
There is no recovery — that's what makes the vault secure. The encryption key cannot be reconstructed without your master password. Choose a strong password you'll remember and keep a secure offline backup of it.
Does each WordPress user get their own vault?
On Plus and Pro, yes — every logged-in user gets a private, separately-encrypted vault with its own master password, or an administrator can switch to admin-only mode. Lite runs in admin-only mode, where each administrator has their own private vault.
What's the difference between the plans?
Lite is a single-site, admin-only vault capped at 50 entries. Plus (3 sites) and Pro (unlimited sites) remove the entry cap and add per-user (multi-user) vaults. Categories, favorites, the password generator, and encrypted import/export are included in every plan.
